Scheduling
problems prevented me from seeing the Seven Siblings Theatre’s production of The
Play About the Baby until its penultimate performance. Edward Albee’s
play is a marvelously absurdist, funny, dramatic and out of the natural and logical
world. Erika Downie directs an energetic and superb production that revels in
the theatricality, mystery and enigmatic variations of the play. Unfortunately it
closes on May 21. My full review will full in a couple of days.
